Do you install Hikvision?
No, we're a supplier, not an installation company. But we go through the system with you first. Depending on your job and area, we may be able to recommend a qualified trade installer who buys from us and knows the equipment.

What do Hikvision model numbers mean?
The model number tells you the range, body shape, resolution and features. For example in DS-2CD2347G2-LU, 23 is a turret body, 4 is 4MP, 7 is ColorVu, G2 is the generation, L is white light and U is a built-in microphone. Our Hikvision model numbers guide decodes every letter.
What is the difference between ColorVu, AcuSense and DarkFighter?
ColorVu cameras record in full colour at night using a wide-aperture lens and supplemental white light. AcuSense classifies humans and vehicles so alerts ignore animals, rain and headlights. DarkFighter is Hikvision's low-light sensor technology that holds a colour picture longer before switching to infrared. Many current models combine AcuSense with ColorVu or DarkFighter.
