The network behind your cameras, from one counter in Wolverhampton.
We supply data networking equipment from our trade counter on Dudley Road: switches, PoE switches, Wi-Fi access points, cable, patch panels, racks and testers.
CCTV, access control and intercoms all run over a network, so we stock that too. Installers, IT teams, businesses and home users are all welcome.
Not sure what you need? Tell us how many cameras or devices you have, how long the cable runs are, and what the building is like. We'll go through the right switch and cabling with you before you buy. Call
01902 902251 or visit Unit 3, Park View Centre, 243 Dudley Road, Wolverhampton WV2 3JU. Open Monday to Friday 9:00am–4:30pm and Saturday 10:00am–4:00pm.
What networking kit do you stock?
- Network switches – unmanaged, smart-managed and managed switches.
- PoE switches – PoE (Power over Ethernet) sends power and data down one network cable, so a camera or access point needs no separate power supply. We also stock long-range PoE switches for cameras at the far end of a site, plus PoE injectors.
- Wi-Fi access points – ceiling and outdoor access points, and Wi-Fi extenders for homes.
- Cable – bulk Cat5e and Cat6 network cable, patch leads, coaxial and multicore alarm cable.
- Racks and containment – wall and floor-standing racks, rack parts, patch panels, modules, faceplates and cable tray.
- Testers and media converters – network testers and cable certifiers, and media converters for fibre links between buildings.
Which brands do you carry?
- Excel structured cabling, racks and switches
- Hikvision and HiLook PoE switches built for CCTV
- Tenda switches and Wi-Fi
- Ubiquiti UniFi and airMAX
- Ruijie Reyee switches and access points
Hikvision prices are shown to trade account holders only. We recommend by job, not by brand: a four-camera home system and a multi-floor office need very different kit.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy networking equipment in Wolverhampton?
From our trade counter at Unit 3, Park View Centre, 243 Dudley Road, WV2 3JU, or online for delivery.
How do I choose a PoE switch for CCTV?
Add up the power your cameras need and check it against the switch's total PoE budget, not just the number of ports. Leave spare ports for growth. Standard PoE runs up to 100 metres; long-range PoE switches go further.
Cat5e or Cat6 for CCTV?
Both will carry an IP camera. Cat6 gives more headroom for new installs. Outdoors, use external-grade cable, and choose solid copper rather than copper-clad aluminium, especially with PoE.
Can you supply the cameras and the network together?
Yes. We supply CCTV, alarms, access control and the network behind them, so the whole job can come from one counter.
